There was a recent slew of media coverage reporting that actor Gene Hackman, 81, had been involved in a biking accident. This accident occurred when a pick up truck struck him from behind while turning. This could have been totally avoided if there had been some bicycle taillights on his bike. Hopefully in light of these recent events, the actor will come out advocating these necessary bike accessories.
